Program Summary
Bachelor of Accountancy program at Stamford International University will equip students with sound accounting knowledge and requisite analytical, practical and communication
skills. The students will study five broad areas of Accounting: Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Audit, Taxation and Accounting Information System. The faculty members are well qualified and dedicated to teaching.
Dual Degree Options
Bachelor of Accountancy students who wish to enhance their understanding of the world and boost their employability, can earn a second degree from the University of the West of England or The University of Northampton. For this, the students will complete one additional year of study in the U.K.
CIMA University Partner
CIMA is a renowned professional organization for Management Accountants. Bachelor of Accountancy program students will get 10 exemptions at CIMA papers. The Accounting students will be awarded the CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting on successful completion of the Operational Case study (OCS) exam.
ACCA Silver Learning Partner
Stamford International University has been granted the Silver Learning Partner status from ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). Exemptions are also available
to students at the ACCA exams.
Industry and Academic Collaborations
Bachelor of Accountancy program at Stamford International University, has collaborations with global accountancy bodies like ACCA, CIMA, government organizations, consulting firms, and accounting firms. Guest Speakers & CSR Endeavor
Experts from Bloomberg are invited to the campus regularly to deliver seminars on an array of topics related to the field of business, finance and accounting. We also value Corporate Social Responsibility. Last year, our Accounting students visited Ban Mae Na Jang as part of a charitable CSR event.
Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab
Stamford’s state-of-the-art Bloomberg lab provides an opportunity to the Accounting students to know the latest business news, study business case studies, read the financial statements, and undertake financial analysis of the listed companies.

1. Academic qualifications
The required academic qualification is completion of high school / upper secondary school (or equivalent), which is generally obtained after 12 years of education. Accepted qualifications include:
- IGCSE / GCSE / GCE O-levels Certificate with no less than C grade
- IGCSE / GCSE / GCE A-levels Certificate with no less than 3 subjects
- Test of General Educational Development (GED) with minimum 145 points in all 4 subjects, along with the high school equivalency diploma.
- IB certificate with minimum 5 subjects with a minimum score of 4.
- IB Diploma with minimum 24 points
- Mathayom 6 with graduation certificate and graduation diploma.

2. English proficiency qualifications. Either of following test results are accepted

Students who are not yet ready to follow an international academic program will be placed in the Stamford English Program before commencing their actual degree program.
